Katrina most searched celeb on mobile videos

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has been named the most searched celebrity on mobile videos in a new survey. She has beaten international stars Britney Spears and Linday Lohan who are on second and third spot respectively.According to the Global Video Insights Report for September, released by Vuclip, the world's largest independent mobile video service, Kareena Kapoor is on the fourth spot, while singer Beyonce Knowles came fifth.

Dabangg" girl Sonakshi Sinha occupied the sixth place. Singer Pitbull, teen sensation Justin Bieber, Shakira and Don Omar wrapped up the top ten.

"A Bollywood star leading ahead of her global peers in mobile video searches worldwide is a testimony to the fact that mobile videos have finally taken off in India in a big way," said Salman Hussain, Vuclip's vice president, business development and managing director, India and Middle East, in a statement.

"Each month we see more and more Indians viewing videos on their mobile screen using not just smart phones but even basic feature phones. This calls for new strategies for advertisers, broadcasters, publishers, content aggregators, and telecom and internet companies alike," he added.

Priyanka Chopra on cover of Maxim magazine

Bollywood Actor Priyanka Chopra unveiled the cover of the latest issue of  Maxim Magazine, an international men's magazine based in UK, last might.

Chopra, who is on the cover of the magazine, is ranked number one in the list of the 'Artic Maxim Hot 100'.

Bipasha wraps up Jodi Breakers

Bipasha Basu, who was in Greece for Jodi Breakers , has wrapped up the film shoot and says she would miss her cast and crew.

Greece schedule for my movie 'Jodi Breakers' got successfully wrapped up! I had a fabulous time shooting there.

Now it's time to holiday in Santorini! I will surely miss the movie crew and my co-star Madhavan," Bipasha wrote on her Facebook page.

Shahrukh Khan part of Student Of The Year

Karan Johar's youth film 'Student of the Year' gets the Midas touch of actor Shahrukh Khan.

A secret source informed us that the Badshah Khan, aka-Shahrukh Khan is going to play cameo in the movie and not only produce it.

Initially Shahrukh Khan was supposed to act in the movie but later that idea was cancelled and he was just going to be a part of the production team for the movie.


Now, as per the source it is heard that the Badshah will feature in the much awaited ‘Student of the Year’.


If Shahrukh wouldn’t face the camera for ‘Student of the Year’, this would have been the first movie where the King Khan would not be present in a Karan Johar directorial. But as they say, “best friends do everything for each other.”

‘Student of the Year’ stars new comers Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt. With Shahrukh Khan’s touch, Karan’s direction and working under Dharma Production it will turn into a dream debut for the three future stars.

Arjun Rampal to debut on small screen

Arjun Rampal is set to join the small screen soon. The Bollywood actor Monday announced that he is in talks with Star World for a new show.

Will be doing a show on Star World. Will send more details as and when we confirm what it will be called, will send the promo link shortly," Arjun posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.

A source from the channel told IANS: "They are in talks for a really unique show. But neither the format, nor the title of the show has been locked. Nothing has been finalised on that front yet."

The model-turned-actor is currently busy promoting his upcoming Diwali release, "RA.One", in which he plays the villain. His look in the movie was unveiled by superstar Rajinikanth in Chennai Monday.

"So much been happening, working round the clock, today Rajni sir unveiled the first look of RA.1 the character...super excited. In Chennai," Arjun tweeted.

The Shah Rukh Khan production, which has a cameo by Rajinikanth, and a brief voiceover by megastar Amitabh Bachchan, will release Oct 26.

Priyanka Chopra croaks away

Actress Priyanka Chopra is down with a throat infection, and dying to get her voice back.

Had a super hectic super fun day yesterday. Shot for 'Barfee'... then went for the 'Just Dance' finale and then the 'Chargesheet' premiere... phew. Down with a throat infection... so croaking away... Need my voice back... gonna be in the studio soon... any quick fixes?" tweeted Priyanka.

The 29-year-old actress has a slate of films lined up. The list includes "Don 2: The Chase Continues", "Agneepath", "Barfee", "Teri Meri Kahani" and "Krrish 2".

She is also busy working on her international music album.
